Things to do in Berlin:
First of all you need to rent bikes! They are around 12€ per day and in that way you can get to see more of this cool city in less time.
The East Side Gallery
Of course you will need to ride your bike to ESG in Friedrichshain just by the river Spree. This place has too much history to miss. Walk along the old wall, have a close look at the graffiti paintings and just for a second imagine how odd it must have been for those living in Berlin before the wall was torn down in 1989.
Also located in Friedrichshain close to Brandenburger Tor. Experience the memorial of the six million jews that became victims of Holocaust. Besides walking through the field of stelae (these big grey cement blocks) where you can take som great pictures, there is an information center below the field, for those wanting to learn more about holocaust and the memorial it self.Tiergarten
Much like New Yorks Central Park, Berlins Tiergarten is a big park that gives you the feeling of being in the forrest. Just right there..In the middle of the city. Bike through the park and maybe bring lunch.
One of the biggest brands in Berlin, so of course you will need to go. It is a very beautiful sight with Tiergarten in the background, try going at night where the places is lit up.
Cruise the Spree
From Brandenburger Tor walk up the street “Unter den Linden” all the way past the “Deutches historische museum” and Berliner Dom to jump on a river boat for a cruise. A nice one hour cruise to Mittes main attractions and buildings while gaining some information about these as well.
Bike along the Landwehr Canal in Kreuzberg
See restaurants, coffee shops and the people hanging out by the canal when the weather is good. Depending on where you are staying take this ride either on your way to or from East Side Gallery.
If you are in Berlin on a sunday you simply cannot miss the fleamarked in Mauerpark, seriously. Not just because of the flea market, but because of the amfi theater where you can do karaoke or simply just listen and be entertained. And believe me you will be.
A vietnamese restaurant with a great atmosphere and some very delicious Pho really cheap considering you are sitting in a restaurant. This places is always crowded and definitely worth a visit.

Have your coffee at Father Carpenter in this cosy backyard surrounded by beautiful shops. Take a moment to rest your legs and feel the sun on your cheeks while sipping your (very delicious) iced latte.

Hip sushi restaurant on Torstrasse. There is always a lot of people here which gives the place a buzzing feel. It has dimmed lights and long tables with a seating of around 8 people, making it very intimate. Order their long island ice tea and make sure you try their dumpling as a starter.

Zeit für Brot
This place is a bakery where you can get coffee and a simple breakfast, but what the locals come for here are their cinnamon rolls – they are out of this world. Try the one with caramelized walnuts, you will not regret it. Also they have different newspapers from around the world and a window to their own bakery for you to can take a peek at see how the cinnamon babies come to life.

I like this one, because in copenhagen we do not have this shop and they have basic items in good quality at a cheep price. And also because it is nice to get stuff from shops you do not have at home. This way you haven’t seen the item hundreds of times.
